Sterling Forest Volunteer Fire Co.

To protect the growing community of residents and businesses in the Sterling Forest area of the Town of Tuxedo, employees of the Sterling Forest Land Corporation and the residents volunteered in the late 1950's to form the Sterling Forest Fire Brigade.

Today, Sterling Forest Volunteer Fire Company Number 2 is an integral part of the Tuxedo Joint fire District with Tuxedo Company Number One, and Eagle Valley Company Three.  Together they provide modern, state of the art fire service to the Town of Tuxedo and surrounding communities 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
